No 1: ผจญภัยด้วยขนส่งชนิดต่างๆ

No. 3: การปล่อยน้ำสุดอลังการ

ทัวร์ญีปุ่น เขื่อนคุโรเบะเป็นเขื่อนขนาดใหญ่ มีความสูง 186 เมตรและยาว 492 เมตร ซึ่งจริงๆแล้วมันเป็นหนึ่งในเขื่อนที่มีขนาดใหญ่ที่สุดในโลก สร้างเสร็จสมบูรณ์เมื่อปี 1963 เพื่อหวังจะให้เป็นต้นการผลิตกระแสไฟฟ้าโดยบริษัท Kansai Electric Power ปริมาณน้ำทั้งหมดที่สามารถเก็บในอ่างเก็บน้ำได้คือประมาณ 200 ล้านลูกบาศก์เมตร ทัวร์ญี่ปุ่น และเนื่องมากจากการที่เขื่อนเก็บน้ำแห่งนี้ก่อสร้างขึ้นมาบนบริเวณพื้นที่ภูเขา จึงมีคนทั้งหมดกว่า 10 ล้านคนที่เข้ามามีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องกับโปรเจคท์ยักษ์นี้

No. 4: วิวทิวทัศน์ธรรมชาติแบบพาโนราม่า
จุดหมายที่เป็นที่นิยมอีกแห่งหนึ่งของอัลไพน์รูทนี้คงหนีไม่พ้น มุโรโดะ ซึ่งอยู่ทางตะวันตกของหุบเขา ทัวร์ญี่ปุ่น จากตรงนี้จะสามารถมองเห็นทัศนียภาพและไฟยามค่ำคืนของเมืองโทยามะ สถานีมุโรโดะเป็นสถานีที่อยู่สูงที่สุดของญี่ปุ่นสูงที่สุด ซึ่งบนนั้นยังมี ร้านอาหาร ร้านกาแฟ และโรงแรม คอยให้บริการอีกด้วย

อีกหนึ่งจุดที่นักท่องเที่ยวต้องขึ้นมาสัมผัสให้ได้นั้นคือหุบเขาจิโกะคุดานิ Jigokudani Valley ทัวร์ญี่ปุ่น หุบเขาที่พ่นก๊าซและไอน้ำที่เกิดจากการเคลื่อนไหวของภูเขาไฟ จนทำให้หุบเขาแห่งนี้ถูกเรียกว่า Hell’s Valley หรือ หุบเขาแห่งนรก อีกทั้งที่นี่ยังถือว่าเป็นสถานศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ถ้าคุณโชคดี อาจจะได้พบนก Raicho หรือ Rock Ptarmigan ซึ่งเป็นนกที่เอาชีวิตรอดอยู่มาได้ตั้งแต่ยุคน้ำแข็ง และอาศัยอยู่ในเทือกเขาอัลไพน์เหนือความสูง 2,500 เมตรขึ้นไป ขนของมันจะเปลี่ยนสีไปตามฤดูกาล ซึ่งในฤดูร้อนจะเป็นสีน้ำตาล และเปลี่ยนเป็นสีขาวบริสุทธิ์ในช่วงหน้าหนาว


No. 5: สีสันราวกับริบบิ้น 
ในฤดูใบไม้ร่วง ภูเขาและหุบเขามากมายจะถูกตกแต่งด้วยสีสันสดใสของสีสันของใบไม้ Kouyou ในภาษาญี่ปุ่นให้หมายความว่า “ใบไม้สีแดง” หรือ “ใบไม้สีเหลือง” หรือ แปลเป็นสำนวนได้ความว่า “กำลังเปลี่ยนสี” เป็นช่วงเวลาที่เราจะได้ชมความสวยงามหลากของใบไม้สีอย่าง สีแดง สีส้ม สีเหลือง และรอยแต้มสีทอง น่าเสียดายที่เราไม่สามารถรู้กำหนดที่แน่นอนของเวลาได้ บางครั้งก็เร็วไป และบ้างก็สายเกินไปเป็นบางครั้ง ขึ้นอยู่กับในแต่ละปี ถึงอย่างนั้นเราก็สามารถเพลิดเพลินไปกับสีสันของฤดูใบไม้ร่วงจากจากปลายเดือนกันยายนถึงตุลาคมตามบริเวณไหนก็ได้ เช่น มิดากะฮาระ ไดคัมโบะ มุโรโดะ และเชื่อนคุโรเบะ เป็นต้น

Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route

Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, some 90 kilometers long linking Toyoma and Nagano Prefecture, is an internationally-known mountain sightseeing route, going across the 3,000-meter-high North Alpine mountains. It is travelled by several different means of transportation including local train, cable car, trolley bus, offering more options for visitors to enjoy grandiose views along with splendid summer alpine flora and an artist’s palette of multi-colored foliage in the fall. Climbers do not have to be specialists to savour the numerous delights of nature in the route. Many of the route travelers follow the route as a round trip, starting and ending in Toyama city.
What’s mysterious in Tateyama
Even in June, visitors can play in the snow in Tateyama’s Murodo, which is located at 2,450 meters above sea level, at the highest point of the Alpine Route. Although global warming have recently become an international concern, in Tateyama, fortunately, snow is so abundant the route closes during winter. It is only a few months that no snow can be seen in the route from late August to mid-October, and is possible that visitors can experience both a snow world and fresh green mountains at one time. Moreover, autumn color, a popular tourist season, you can be thrilled by marvelous landscapes.

The Route’s Attractions

No1: Adventure – Various kinds of transportation
There are varied transportation systems that visitors travel across Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, from Tateyama in Toyoma prefecture to Shinano Omachi in Nagano prefecture: Toyama Local Train, Tateyama Cable Car, Tateyama Highland Bus, Tateyama Tunnel Trolley Bus, Tateyama Ropeway, Kurobe Cable Car, Kanden Trolley Bus, and Local Bus.

If you start your journey from Toyama city, it takes 50 minutes to get Tateyama station, the foot of North Alpine mountains where you can transfer to steep Tateyama Cable Car to ascend about 500m to Bijodaira (977m). There, from the plateau, you switch to a bus for about an hour to Murodo (2450m). This bus trip is hard to miss that provide a drawing glimpse down to 350m Shomyo-daki Falls, then climbing above the treelike and traverses the highland, called Midagahara (1930m), which is covered with marsh dotted with many small ponds.
Moreover, Tateyama Ropeway, the mountain cable car that takes you from Daikanbo (2,316m) to Kurobedaira (1,828m), is a highlight offering a bird’s-eye view of surrounding mountains. The landscape of the Ushirotateyama Peaks and Lake Kurobe is mostly recommended and is impressive. Those all conveyances surely make you relaxed and excited for adventuring such a beautiful wonderland.

No. 2: Excitement – Experience snow in summer
In early summer, peoples relish taking a walk in a forest around Bijodaira, where a virgin forest remains and Midagahara, where contains a few boardwalk trails across the marsh. Meanwhile, at Murodo, there still fallen snow remains. This highest point of the Alpine Route is famous for Yuki-no Otani, a snow corridor with walls as high as 20 meters, which visitors can see by walking through from April to June. It is, absolutely one of the world’s most amazing sceneries. Murodo terminal is situated on Murodo-daira, which is the heart of the northern Japan Alps.

No. 3: Magnificence – Kurobe Dam’s massive water discharge
Kurobe Dam is a huge dam with a height of 186m and length of 492m. In fact it is one of the largest dams in the world, completed in 1963 for the purpose of generating electricity by Kansai Electric Power Company. The total water reservoir capacity of the dam is around 200 million cubic meters. Since the dam was constructed in mountainous location, a total 10 million people were involved in this tremendous project.
An attraction of Kurobe Dam is its massive water discharge from late June thorough mid-October. From the arch-shaped concrete dam, more than 10 cubic meters of water drop every second to the Kurobe River below, creating a rising white cloud of spray and a great roar throughout the valley.
Visitors can also take the pleasure cruise ship “Garve” that goes around about 12km on Lake Kurobe, a man-made lake, with panoramic views of alpine mountains. Please note that the cruises do not operate from December 1st to mid-April. There are a hiking path locating on the west side of the lake where you can enjoy strolling and the feel of the breeze.

No. 4: Panoramas – Panoramic view of natural scenery
One of the most popular destinations in Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Routes is Murodo. Only the west is free from mountains , allowing views over Toyama plain and the lights of Toyama city at night. The Murodo station is Japan’s highest located station, which includes a restaurant, cafe andHOTEL.

Walking around the area is recommended since there are well-maintained paths that children can hike. Those paths take hikers to nearby scenic sites including Mikuriga-ike Pond with alluring alpine flora and grouse, where the reflection of Mt. Tateyama is seen on its surface. The 5m deep pond was made when the mountain erupted. It is covered with ice for about half of the year and even in summer there snow lumps are floating.
Another must-see spot is Jigokudani Valley (Hell Valley), which spews gas and vapor caused by volcanic activity. This rugged landscape is known as Hell’s Valley and is considered a kinds of holy places. If you are lucky during exploring the area, you will see raicho (Japanese ptarmigan), which have survived since the glacial era and live in alpine areas exceeding 2,500m high, featuring changing their color with the season; brown in summer and pure white in winter.

No. 5: Colors – Autumn colors from September to October (Autumn colors for over a month)
In fall, mountains and gorges are festooned with garlands of colored leaves. Kouyou, which literally means “red leaves” or “yellow leaves,” or idiomatically “changing colors,” is considerable to many Japanese. It is a time of dazzling beauty, with streaks of red, orange, yellow and gold splashed. Unfortunately it is not easy to assume the best time; sometimes too early, sometimes too late, depending on each year. Yet, in Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Routes, colored leaves can be enjoyed for about one month from late September to late October at any spot such as Midagahara, Daikanbo, Murodo, and Kurobe Dam.
